1. Warm Up:
  • Take out a piece of clean binder paper. You will use the same paper for warm up each day this week.
  • Set up for Cornell Notes.
  • Copy the prompt on the left, then write about the prompt on the right.
      • Describe what it means to YOU to carry your own skis. Describe two ways that you carry your own skis in your own life.
2. "Carry Your Own Skis" After You Read p. 217#1-4 (Review from last Thu)
    • Teacher will review instructions : )
    • In partners, complete the questions.
    • Share out to check for understanding.
3. Writing About the Big Question (Hand out to students)
    • Have students copy the synonyms/meaning next to each word of the Big Question Vocabulary for CYOS
    • Complete exercises A and B with partners.
    • Teacher will call on students to share and to check for understanding.
